As much as I love flying the T-6, my "lotto" airplane would be a Curtiss P-40E. An aquaintance found one years ago on top of a truck stop/diner on the west coast and had it restored. BEAUTIFUL! Painted
in the colors of Col Robert Scott AVG after he became an ace. What I would give to have an airplane like that (and be able to afford the gas).
Second choice would be the P-51, and my father LOVES the F4U-4.
